Alida Lowe is an artist who works across disciplines as a producer and manager, and has also trained as an actor, director, singer, and pianist. She holds an MFA in Producing from California Institute of the Arts, a Certificate in Arts Administration from NYU’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies, and a BAR in Theatre Arts from Rocky Mountain College. Alida is the Producing Director of Burnt Thicket Theatre, a Calgary-based theatre company which aims to enliven [restore life to] audiences through original performance. Along with her husband, Colin, she is also the co-founder of Estuary Creative, which offers creative services to arts organizations in the Calgary area. In addition to simply creating excellent work, Alida is most passionate about exploring the intersection between faith and art.
